So the keeper became the weird head on the goalpost, a blot of ink messed up the player on the fr corner of the penalty area and it hallucinated the person outside the penalty area. The main thing for me was not realising we had a stand that large, presumably the South which would have been rebuilt smaller after the war?

Getting back from Euston that late could be a problem given that the 9.53 from Stoke is probably too early given the 4 miles distance to Vale Park

Yep £27 return from out my way it makes the shoddy train experience of modern times almost worth it.

Posh lad refused to get off the train at Derby on my way home from Rotherham. Train manager told me he also assaulted a female member of train staff but there were no police at Derby station to detain him. Got him nicked at New Street - violence against women is not something I tolerate.
I like Andy's Away guide post aka DO - excellent information

Blast from the past - only those of a certain vintage will understand.
i see you can get to Stoke and back next Tuesday by train for £36.50 return - bargain!

Early train up d11.46-a13.59. Return d21.53-a23.58 or d22.53-a01.13
Guess it works both ways though maybe? More people may travel as it’s easier (haven’t checked) to get home after FT but fewer may travel because it’s harder to get there for kick off.

Historically it was a 7.30pm kick off that then moved to 7.45 for the benefit of TV. Would welcome more 7pm kick offs.
It is an odd one. I’m not against it as it doesn’t affect my ability to get the to game or home again afterwards. Would be mildly interested to understand the reasoning for the time change.

Anagram man is still as baffling as ever. It was certainly some years ago that Erik went out to see him and he is holding one of our mugs in a recent photograph.

OTD looks like a vets' game. The guy with the ball is no spring chicken. And the crowd is made to appear enormous. These enhanced photos are quite an eye-opener about the risks of trusting AI. Would be great to have links to the original photos alongside (but I appreciate that's extra work for gimps, so just a thought).

Wow, there must have been at least 20,000 at the OTD game - that covered stand is absolutely rammed… 🤪 Is it at Hartlepool, there’s a monkey's head or something hanging off the goalpost…? 👀😲
