The Cardiff game was more like what I was expecting in L1 TBH. A close, workmanlike 0-1 defeat rather than a close, workmanlike 1-0 win.

My first experience of Cardiff fans was being chased by about ten of them through Bishops Park from Putney Bridge as Fulham were playing them (around 1973-1974 probably)…. The nice mounted policemen saved me from being eaten alive when we reached Stevenage Road 🤪😂

With regard to meeting Cardiff mates in a pub, I cannot see anywhere issue. You could just say, if challenged by bouncers, you live local and are meeting some Cardiff mates for a drink before THEY go to the game. This will be true. If they ask about if you are going, just say no. I doubt they will even worry, especially if you are on your own and not in colours.

Since I won't be voting as my membership is expiring, I shouldn't give a flying figure about any of it, but I do care. Two thing should happen NOW. 1 is book a venue and date for hustings, make it known now and it won't be changed. The 2nd is that the email address should be a unique one, tested and the only available one to send the manifesto too. A one occasion address akin to dtbelection2025@whatever.com and each sender to request a receipt. If no receipt is issued, then they have the right to appeal this based on the timing sent on their email account alone. The appeal will rule in favour of the sender if this protocol is observed.
