We need a Ainsworth type manager. Forget the connection and I don’t think we’ll ever get him but I’m talking someone in that mould - works on a budget, get the best out of his players, believes in the players he brings in and sees the value of players like Bayo, Charles, Smith etc. Has energy and fights our cause from the front

Someone who brings some energy, we are desperate for a spark within the whole club right now
It's contacts for recruitment we need though and I can't see Reeves offering much in that department.

Max bet a pound Arthur, proceeds to the new gaffer for squad improvements.
Reeves is my choice when Ardley goes. Give him to end of the season. If we stay up and improve on the dross Ardley has served up, he gets the gig. If not, not.

Thought he has done well with the reserves. And seems to have more about him than Ards
STTA- I’m liking the 3/1 after Southend.......

Well done Minty, comes across as someone who would challenge the FCB and improve key areas we fail in, particularly communications.

Would get one of my votes
Kentish agree and he is coaching these guys every day and they’re not developing so what does it gain. Considering the weaknesses in what comes through to him Reeves has done ok so wouldn’t have an issue as temp cover.

I'd like Paul Hurst

Holloway is bonkers but maybe what we need
Reeves and Robinson should both be left doing their jobs. Bassey as caretaker while we advertise and interview. If we continue to lose I'm pricing the chop date as follows - After Donny 6/1 after Southend 3/1 after Peterborough 6/4 after Rochdale 10/11

Not sure about long term but I can see Reeves being caretaker. Bassey went on the record in thinking “too many players are not fit to wear the shirt”, which suggests appointing him as a stop- gap would be a mistake.

Not the sharpest tool in the box is Bass
No better than Bassey as caretaker and definitely not for the long term KD.

What do we think of Alan Reeves? Do we rate him as reserves (or whatever they call it now) manager?

With Neal Ardley likely to be sacked @ AFC Wimbledon i.e. BBC Radio London say he's been given a vote of confidence and going by Interviews with Ardley even he sounds resigned that it'll happen at some stage soon - Does anyone else think that Wimbledon may come calling for our Jason Euell? - They appear to be a similar club to us of late who seem to like going after people who have previously been involved with Wimbledon
