Chiggers, you're already getting discounts (in real terms) by having DD.

CW, how many even have a professional fourth division?

Lee - The club's view is that the early bird discount rewards early payment, and that paying regularly by direct debit doesn't constitute early payment. That's why it's been structured that way.

The whole point of early bird is that the club gets the money before the close season when income drops dramatically. If you aren't giving them the money then you shouldn't get that discount.

BK-how many other countries does 4th division football cost the best part of 30 quid to watch? None is the answer

Anyone from the DTB in here? I won't use discord. But it's a complete joke that there is no DD option for early-bird ST holders

Also, £31 to stand for league 2 is a joke
TBK, you going to share what’s in the ESG report that you’ve clearly already read or behave like a spoilt child?

KD, watching on Sky is nothing like being there (ironically I sound like a Sky advert!) As for VFM what are you comparing it with? We're basically at capacity so what do you suggest we do?

Please can I remind everyone that as owners we need to find over £1m each season to compete at this level.
Maybe TBK we should sign up and offer Klarna as a means of payment?

CM, yes. I'm sure Laurence will find one but I can't think of any other business that gives you a reduced early bird rate then allows you to pay that over a year in installments.

It all just seems remarkably poor VFM for the quality of the product, especially when you can watch roughly half our games on Sky for a fraction of the cost.

CW, fair enough. How often has that happened at a game? I share your concern as I use my phone for communications, travel and money these days like many people do so I am extra vigilant about its charging.

Don't think a tenner is too much to ask for a physical one when we're paying £500+ anyway.
Direct debit renewal from 6th may, ÂŁ30 more a ST

A4E/CM, Early Bird Renewal Pricing (Until 6 May 2025) – Early Bird prices are for renewals only, and offer the lowest rates across the stadium. These rates are only available to supporters paying in full upfront.

Is the 10 month direct debit option for early bird renewal removal a new thing?
If you want to renew and pay by DD it is more expensive which I don't remember being the case last year

Mean while For John Galt. As a golden oldie, if i buy a 5yr season ticket as a debenture holder. I works out at ÂŁ18 per game. We could be in div 2 , div 1 or even non league. The club will get my dosh up front. A physical ticket option for me.

In “Payment Options”, why doesn’t it say “Monthly Direct Debit” anywhere? Has it been removed, and if so, why isn’t that fact in the FAQs?

CW, I'm intrigued why a physical season ticket is more "proper" than a digital one? Digital are obviously cheaper and more transferrable. Most similar clubs do digital tickets now I believe.
