Looking forward to seeing who the new board are, hopefully we get to wave goodbye to an awful period of governance.

I fully expect 50.01 to come back around in 12-18 months.
I'm glad 50% + 1 failed as it will force the club to deal with its operational losses now rather than delaying it for a few years as I have no doubt they would have used money raised from selling equity to cover trading losses. I hope those who voted for the RA realise how stupid they have been and when we are in no position to grab opportunities we want they can look in thr mirror and say I'm to blame for that. If that RA was in place before we probably would not be playing at Plough Lane now.

Genuinely shocked and surprised by this outcome. Aside from the SOW idiots, I literally have not heard anyone (even senior former DTB and PLC board members I sit near) who are in favour of the RA. This is literally the worst outcome we could have had. No money. No say. No prospect of getting any. Relegation and administration seem inevitable now. It is just a case of what order they happen and how soon.

Why would there be proxy votes in the second poll but not in the first? I don't understand the mentality of someone giving their vote to a chairman to decide. They wouldn't give their vote to the incumbent prime minister in a general election. It makes a mockery of democracy.
Thanks for that Scotty. Disappointing that 50%+1 fell so short, almost agonisingly short. Hopefully club can take on board any feedback and we can get this through in 6 months or so.

I'm wondering if the order in which the motions were listed had a baring. I found it odd that the 1st action on the voting form was listed after the second stage. To me, the natural order would have been the 50%+01 followed by SRA. It could have been a confusing issue for some who may know what they feel about what they want, but get blindsided by the written technical rhetoric.

The DTB need to dig us out of this Super RA's mess but get a clear message out to members as the Resolution as worded is implying this gives us additional protection when actually it could do quite the opposite. With Chairman Proxies in play this time, a critical decision could all come down to what Angus decides.

Although I believe Angus will get his orders on that from higher up.
I think it was 143 Yes votes short based on the number voting YES or NO. But I suspect it was closer until the late flurry of NO's came in. 3,697 voted. If say only 3,500 voted and the final 197 votes were all NO, I think the 2,631 YES votes recorded would have scraped the 75% threshold by about 6 votes. It wouldn't have been that extreme, but I suspect it was certainly closer before the late flurry of votes.

Urgent step is to stop Super RA's later this month. 50+1 should come back, but done correctly this time. It was lost because of the disdain shown by the DTB at the Members SGM. None of those resolutions did more than look to improve process. Yet the DTB were hell bent in showing they were boss. The problem was less voting against the Board but rather against a structure where the DTB (and PLC) thought they were immune, could do what the wanted and treat members as they did. They lost so many votes simply because of that. Certainly cost them the 75%.

50+1 fails getting only 71.17%. Super RA's passes 87.96%. What an almighty cock-up.

San Marino are big on WUP. Mentioned every time they've won since November 2005; which is exactly twice. My comment in September was: Congratulations San Marino. Second ever win, first competitive (only Nations League) from the country ranked second last in the world. So close to beating England in the early 90's; if only the ref had blown for full time after about 20 minutes.

This win and promotion is after falling to ranked last in the World. Gibraltar will rue their two draws with Liechtenstein after their four points off San Marino was a point too few to get promoted.
San Marino promoted in the Nations league. Probably absolute mental scenes in san marino tonight to celebrate.

If we take John Galt's suggestion on pricing, Chelsea will be over-run with priced-out Wimbledon fans. ;o)

Charlie used some of the socialist party playbook against me tonight on Twitter but I wasnโ€™t in the mood to be diplomatic so he got some straight facts. Facts are undervalued by the clique but that doesnโ€™t make them unimportant in the real world.

Reece is a dreadful forum moderator but an excellent yes man. Willing to sell his own credibility for a pat on the head and a temporary promotion. What a joke this Trust has become.

George deletes online chat comments during Meet the DTB meetings when the comments arenโ€™t anything contentious. Dream Team secretariat is finally here weโ€™ve peaked! Vote 4 change more than youโ€™ve ever voted before.
Oh, and Charlie Talbot is a sanctimonious, rude twat with the communication skills of a brick.
