The idea that only those candidates who agree not to rock the boat (as approved by the ESG) will be allowed to stand does pretty much suggest that the DTB is really going to be a “Putinesque” version of democracy, rather than any attempt to reflect the opinions of the membership. Not a big deal for me personally, as I never would have wanted to stand anyway, but it certainly does make it impossible to claim in future that the elected DTB necessarily represents the views of the membership

My personal circumstances were not unknown on here, which is why I was so disappointed with Trigger's posts .... you did read them, right? Anyone is welcome to start a guestbook / forum. After 20 years of this place I'll gladly take it down if there's a suitable replacement.

This club has a ruinous vibe running through it's core. From the very inception of AFC all those years ago. Those that run the club and those that see bad practice and want change will be for ever sniping. I see no end. Better off selling up in my opinion. I'll still be supporting what ever happens.

The reason why the early bird is for the people paying for a whole season ticket and not the direct debit is because of the amount of money they get upfront. Just say a £420 get discounted to £360 the club will get that early rather than game by game. With the direct debit they would not be getting the full amount now. The offer is to reward those who give the whole seasons money upfront.

VCoC was not fit for purpose, KD, and I doubt it would be today. The EFL Fit and Proper Test is a different matter, and has zero impact on VCoC.

We seem to be conflating our own Animal Farm fan charter with the EFL’s fit and proper person test and then trying to get the EFL to ban anyone from getting on the DTB who has said naughty words on social media in the past. This isn’t on, chaps.
