If there is a hotel right next to your training ground you are rather asking for trouble. Not that people should spy but how do you stop it, they don't need to book the whole team in, just one room?

I'm not at all sure there is much gained by spying unless you actually have an agent inside the club you are spying on.

Southampton's manager should be summarily dismissed immediately without any pay off for gross misconduct. Southampton need to get their house in order and try to restore their reputation. They only confessed to the other two incidents because they knew they were going to be found out. That intern having his picture now made public is unacceptable too (if the BBC article is to be believed).

I've no doubt this goes on elsewhere, especially abroad where this cheating seems to be rife. Hopefully, it will stop. So much for clubs saying they just focus on themselves and let the opposition worry about them.
The Ipswich one involved them buying and wearing Eastleigh training kit as Ipswich were training there. It was also same day of the match, which was an evening kick off.
