Woking - indeed, I agree - they should spend less time hand wringing about whether to post on Discord or X, and more time sorting out the real issues…. 🙄

Laurence - you don’t see X as a cesspit, yet you say that you have already “blocked several idiots this morning” - is that a normal morning, or is today unusual? I haven’t had an account there for a couple of years now, so the only time I see posts from there is when someone posts them on here…

To be honest, the problem is not whether the DTB is or isn’t on Twitter (who cares either way?), it is that they think that this is a sensible use of their limited attention span at a time when the club is rapidly approaching administration. To me, the whole problem with an elected board has always been that you get people who are elected because they are with the fanbase and/or able to manipulate rules and procedures to exclude outsiders but lack the basic competence to oversee the management of a business. The one consolation to me of our approaching financial crisis is that this ridiculous structure will be swept away.

I noticed that Rotherham scored 2 away at Stockport yesterday (they still lost) but it did make me think that that’s a guaranteed win for them next weekend (because they can score goals and we can’t). But then I saw one of those goals. Stockport keeper goes for a quick drop-kick. His own defender ducks to make way. The ball cannons off his butt and back into the next for an own goal.

The point still remains - if you can score a goal at the moment then you have us beat while we strive for a valiant 0-0 draw. Heads in the sand from Trust to pitch.
We're pretty much out of cash by Summer with 2027 being the a big year of bond repayments, possibly £2m to £2.5m

I'm still haunted by the manager saying we don't worry about the opposition when he first joined
I don't see this cesspit people refer to on twitter. I have blocked several idiots this morning. My timeline includes football, climate, Iranian protests, some politics, and I follow 2456. Maybe choose who you follow aligns with your interests.

I was a on security webinar last week. They talked about Grok. Pointed out it would take lots of prompts to create images people dislike. Quicker on Adobe Photoshop. Will there be a ban on using this product instead?
Not really just in your teacher preaching mind:-)

Twitter is a cesspit of hate and toxicity anyway so I’m all for the decision. It’s the lowest of low platform

Interesting to see if the club will follow suit (unlikely)
I’m fully aligned with the DTB coming off twitter they were never right for it in the first place. Shutting down comments on their tweets, not answering questions or engaging in any way.

It’s for the best and I doubt anyone will notice they’re gone.
The other thing was the ref waved Browne on and then changed his mind when he ran on and was in a good position? What was that about? You can't get involved in the play as soon as you run on the pitch?

Intersting that the ref played 9 added minutes when the amount announced was 6 - I know Smith went down for 1 minute, but I was expecting the ref to blow at 97 or 98, but playing a full minute more was baffling - maybe a ref on here can explain why that happened? I know you’ve still got to defend, but Lewis was sent off before the 6 minutes board went up, so I’m assuming the extra 3 minutes was purely for the Smith injury…? 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s on discord. Few of the more influential voices seem to be pretty happy with the decision

DTb can move quickly when they want to, as this shows
Laurence where did you see that? It’s not a big deal anyway, they don’t tweet things as it is.

unintentional hat trick as power went off and came back on. It is foggy out there.

and in more important matters the DTB devoted time to vote not to use Twitter any more. I wonder how that will help us secure investment, score more goals and points on the table and prevent a return to League 2?

Lose two successful businessmen from the board and worry about Twitter instead. Strange priority.

Quick reminder of the form guide since the day in late Oct when we could have gone top : P12, W1, D3, L8, GF 8, GA 20, 6 points from 36. Truly shocking form. Relegation seemingly inevitable. Financial meltdown on our doorstep. Call Wally !
