TF - thanks. I've been reliably informed via their press bods that there's no parking available at the ground.

And with Palace coming, the side roads might be busy too.
Yeah take a look at the aerial map here seems to be at least three sections of car park right by the ground [Link]

Quite a large car park I seem to remember - but could well be wrong. Main memory is of walking back through it whilst f***ing seething and watching some Dons fans nearly lose their composure with Bromley fans.

Afternoon all. Can anyone remember what the parking situation outside Bromley's ground is like? Places nearly to leave the car, that kind of thing.

Off to their ground for Palace tomorrow...
Again if last season is anything to go by then next Friday is more likely.

I'm assuming that the playing budget assumes we are getting investment but not a lot

Friday a good day for a couple of signings. Definitely need a target man. Maybe utility midfielder/winger. At the moment my prediction will be just avoiding relegation. Administration if we don't get the investors on board soon.

Mixed feelings about the injuries last season - yes that period where the number of first teamers out reached 7 or 8 you can easily relate that to dropped points, but let's not forget we had had a dreadful run of form prior to that which had seen us drop down the table like an AFC Wimbledon side in L1 and that occured with just a key injury or two - same sort of thing that most clubs experience in a season.

I don't want to doom monger because the transfer activity isn't done and dusted yet but at present it feels like our squad is weaker and the league may be stronger. I do have faith in CC and team to do the absolute best they can though so breath calmly held.
Papers, not sure but looks like a lot of wupers are delusional

unless these investors really exist
Tomato, I agree with that, would expect us to fall short of play-offs with 3 or 4 to go, with us gaining the biggest points total in AFCW history in L1

Injuries destroyed us last season when we were bang on for a comfortable mid-table. If the football gods give us a break this season, I trust JJ to steer us to upper mid-table.

Apparently Watford are playing Hansa Rostock in a friendly on Saturday and the Germans are bringing 6,000 fans

I think Papers agrees with me that us, Bromley and Cambridge will go down plus one other, I originally said Mansfield but now McGoldrick has signed for them they should be ok

Yeah that's a very famous dive site Sparty. I've never dived the Red Sea - prefer to go further afield - but everyone tells me that I should go there at least once. Big wrecks are an awesome experience especially ones with a military reason.

I'm going to hold off predicting a league place until I see with what sort of squad we start the season with. Last season I think I said 16th and would have been pretty close if we hadn't had those injuries. Currently our squad feels weaker/shallower to me but we know the club are looking to bring more people in so no drama yet.
We have good enough players to stay up, get a decent keeper and striker and 12th place is ours
