That 777 Partners are even considered as a fit and proper owner tells you everything. They operate like a Ponzi scheme and it will all implode when they can no longer finance all their investments. The British Basketball League is likely to go into administration at some point after they sold out to 777 Partners. Here's an example. "777 Partners, the Miami-based investment firm trying to buy Everton, has been described as a “crumbling house of cards” in a lawsuit filed in New York this week." US Regulators have forced five insurers to cut their exposure to 777. Of their 11.5 billion assets, 2.9 billion is invested in 777 related entities.

Spurs don't think Arsenal aren't a proper football club or vice versa. We do think Franchise are not a proper football club. I'm in no way suggesting we are wrong but it does make us unique in the EFL and the way we are treated will flow from that.

Mildly interesting interview with Salford City CEO Nicky Butt reminding people that he has a nice life and clearly isn’t willing to spaff that against the wall for a football club. [Link]

But surely the FA will not let this happen as they ensure all owners are fit and proper and will run the clubs properly.
Save PK for exhibition matches.

actually if they don't treat them the same as us then one of us isn't being treated like any other football club

It is always easier for Franchise with the authorities as they say "we want to treat them just like any other football club".

Do the FA not understand that most football fans aren't bothered by a little argy-bargy especially in the derby/grudge matches. Are they trying sanitise all the fun out of football.

Unless any of you were bothered about our players squaring up to their's after the match.
MAD probably not a bad analogy but it helps that they're already teacher's pet whereas we're in the corner with the dunce's hat on.

It’s the way we roll with the 5th form debating society propped up by the kids that had the excuse note for p.e every week, getting on everyone’s tits.
so essentially we are still 20 years later being kicked like a pariah by the FA and the EFL while their little ginger bastard of a child is patted on the head and soothed

You can't take it out of the players final pay unless you want to take the intensity out of all future games. We were more 'up for it' and confrontational across the whole club for that game. It would be pretty unfair to then make the players shoulder the result of that.
