I find it somewhat ironical that the very same people who demonstrate vitriolic hatred, towards the likes of Sam Hamman, for entering into a ground sharing arrangement are the very same people who have effectively bankrupted the club through their unblinkered desire for us to own our own stadium and their failure to deliver on business plans. I guess the socialist ideal of a “collective” was inevitably destined to fail. It’s just a shame that real fan ownership was never given a chance. It seems that some people would prefer that one Omar Mir (with no previous connection to the club) ends up owning 90% of it, rather than allowing hundreds or thousands of true fans to acquire it.

Dr Mir was actually in London the day before the investor presentation, doing a Q&A at Imperial Business School. So he does exist. Curious he could not make the investor event though, maybe he prefers to keep a low profile or is super busy. Would be interesting to know how many times the DTB have met him and the due diligence that’s been done.

Don't trust Mir or his money (if he even has it) and certainly don't think Bertrand (which my phone kept correcting to betrayed - I hope that isn't an omen) will add anything beyond just getting in the way and pissing everyone off. If Mir (or whatever name he is going by today) is serious about investing and supposed to be putting in the sums of money suggested, he'd make the effort to get to the meeting to meet us or agree a date when be could be there. Nobody is that busy, especially if he is serious about spending millions. I hope somebody on the DTB has seen the whites of his eyes, preferably at where he is based so they can see if it is real or just a front, and not relying on some clerk at a law firm to do a desk top review. My fear is it is the latter.
