We live amongst a host of retired engineers/ heavy-duty tradesmen who discuss all sorts of more consensual and less punishing alternatives. They are not wicked 'climate change deniers'. Airsy, they will once they turn off the broadcast signal but that is probably a decade or two away at least. In the meantime BBC1 and Radio 4 are everywhere. I had a top floor flat for a few months less than half a mile from the BBC mast and you could get the sound of BBC1 on electrical appliances the signal was so strong.
