How was France’s first goal not disallowed. French player offside standing right in the way of the keeper obstructing them. That’s really poor from the officials.

I think he spent the rest of his career in non league after he left us.

We got Richard Teale from QPR where he was understudy to Phil Parkes.

I googled Richard Teale and it led me to a tweet from Slough Town about 10 hours ago. Way before my time as a Wimbledon supporter.

That's sad news about Richard Teale. Where was this announced? He's one of the first goalkeepers I remember playing for WFC in 1977 after Dickie Guy was dropped shortly into the 1977-78 season. I think his front teeth were missing, but this might be a then 8 year old misremembering almost 49 years later. He seemed to then fall out of favour too, before both were replaced by the late Ray Goddard (the keeper with a terribly weak goal kick, who always wore tracksuit bottoms).

Went to Horsham to cover their FAC game against Barnsley (where they ended up getting thrown out), and it's in the middle of nowhere. But there is a big car park nearby.
