I think a decent oppo manager would change things up to counter that pretty quickly Alan. Just stick your main striker on him and beat him for pace.

I've often wondered, given the lack of pace at the back, if a sweeper would work? I know you give up the offside aspect of the defencive tactics, but it would allow the player at the back an opportunity to mop up and set an attack going. To my mind this would suit Jakes disadvantages but would do wonders to his strength of those searching passes forward, ditto Joe who I think has lost pace also.

Well we have proved that we can at least score a goal with no strikers. But we still have to prove that we can concede fewer than 3 goals in most games at the moment.

Timmy, there's been a few ungraded ones that she has bought that warrant spending the money on getting them certified. She bought a batch of 7 cards for £30, knowing they would do well a couple of years on, turns out they were worth £80 each on ebay, sold items as a consistent price as they were bought. Graded, these achieve £1k+ for a lightly played grade 7, the ones she has are grade 8.5 upwards, no brainer to spend the £50 each to get them done. In a few years, possibly a few more hundred on each.

AioW - correct - went to a Pokemon thing few weeks back at Crawley K2 and the collectors/ speculators are making loads of money from them!

Pokemon cards are where its at, my missus is rather good at finding the gems that others overlook. Is collecting them for a few quid a piece and selling them about 40 to 75 times what she's paid a few years later. Much better returns than her pension offers.
