I always check out the stats - particularly for strikers because the goals are so crucial. LTB and AAH probably the only two strikers I can think of who have outperformed. Non-goalscoring strikers we don’t need.

Not so much recent stats. Wiki has 30 goals in 84 league games (0.36 gpg) and since then (2019) 27 in 154 (0.17 gpg)

I’m never too fussed about stats pre a player joining us - I always say that it’s about whether they fit the system played or link up well with other players in the side. Previous form is one thing, current can be quite another…

Yeah sometimes it can be about circumstances and fit. LTB’s stats before he joined us weren’t great.

Yeah the recent stats imply he is shit but there are always lots of factors at play with these things - doesn't mean he will be shit with us. I like that he is 6ft3 anyway.

Like people have said, more worried about his shit stats and the fact he couldn't get a game in League Two than the fact he played for Franchise.

Having said that I’ve just checked out his stats and I think we should steer well clear.

yeah a4e i agree on balance. Main issue has been, as you say, that the couple of ex frannies we have signed so far have been duds. Hopefully Chuks will be different and will keep us up this season as Spit says so the south stand can sing...

Hash - I tend to feel more animosity towards a player who’s willing to go the other way rather than to us having played for them a few years ago. Hence the hilarity when Lemon got sent off at their place against us 🍋🟥😂 Aneke might be a decent signing at 6’ 3”, and I’d be more than happy if he started banging goals in or providing assists - unfortunately the ex-Frannies we have so far signed have turned out to be mostly duds, look at Orsi and Broughton as just two examples… Let’s see what happens - we have reached the point now where lots and lots of players have at some point played for MK, but these aren’t the individuals who did the dirty to Wimbledon FC, that was Koppel, Winkie, et al…

WHAD lads reckon an ex franny may be on his way to us but not 100%. Assuming this is that Chuks Aneke bloke. Spent too much time with them for my liking and if we came against him the south stand would 100% be singing you know what you are at him, so not sure about this one.
