I know it woudl have only covered over the cracks but had we managed to hold on for five minutes it nightmare trio of games recently we would be in 2nd place and pretty much there for promotion.

Who did we lose this Christmas?

JJ has been disadvantaged by losing quality players over the Chtistmas transfer window without the wherewithal to replace them

RK Leeds might survive but Burnley and who ever joins them must be odds on to go straight back down unfortunately.

JAW - Maybe those are reasons to get rid of him. Given our financial position I think he with Cope and Thorn and the nucleus of the current squad are the most likely to keep us away from relegation next season.

Totally agree OI, with the exception of the true greats, every manager fails. The difference is we’re sticking with a manager who has shown over 3 seasons that he has no idea what to do post Christmas, our form has dived every year. He has shown consistently he doesn’t know how to use his squad, he can’t make impactful subs, he picks players regardless of form and has no plan B. Plus he trots out the same dull responses in every interview.

I have horrible feeling that next 2 games we will see our opponents fans celebrating on both occasions

The Ainsworth who has failed everywhere except Wycombe and today was only his second win in 7 at Gillingham. Hughes failed at Bradford, Cowley has not done much since Licoln and Holloway blows hot and cold (though if I was into betting, I'd have a dabble on Swidon getting promted next season). All League 2 managers - maybe all managers - are a gamble.

Who's going to pay his wages? JJ will meet his stated objective.

Jaw - I think it was, what a great day! Feels like a lifetime ago. We did well to get a point against Accrington as well back in November but that's about it.

SW, was it first game of the season v Colchester?

Would love to know what Colchester, Gills, SwinDon, Carlisle are paying the likes of Hughes, Cowley, Ainsworth and Holloway.

We lack such composure when we go behind. And have such a lack of plan B. I have no hope in us getting a goal back. Can't think of any example this season where we have gone on to win when behind.

I'm sure board will bring in a replacement for Buckley and bring a plan in to plug the losses we are running up each year. If not it's div 2 football until one bad year.
