Those late goals in other games have really helped us there. But even if we somehow scrape playoffs from our last two very hard games, winning them seems a thousand miles away.

Case of a manager trying to be too clever. Yeah we look occasionally solid at the back but it’s dismantled the midfield and forward line. Autos were ours for the taking but we’ve blown it.

Dreadful - no attacking intent other than hitting it long - completely one-dimensional over the past two months. Luckily Colchester nor Grimsby (thanks to a last-gasp equaliser by Vale) could take advantage (I'd given up on the autos several weeks ago)

Yes we need a return to 352. Bugiel up with someone. Ball in midfield. JJ won't learn though and will stick to 3-4-3 even though it hasn't worked for months.

As with Friday the game needed a change of formation to 352. Sasu is a passenger and the two CM have been ineffective. This is absolute rubbish, to create so little is appalling, especially when you are going promotion. When you have 20+ striker in the team who plays better in a two why not play to his strengths

Nice though it may be to get in the playoffs (assuming that we manage to “fall over the line” to get there), just imagine what a car crash next year would be in L1 with this squad and manager (I don’t see any prospect of us having the budget to substantially improve the squad)

Lurker - I have never seen you call Stevens a passenger but if you have you have - I must have missed it. I agree Stevens if a passenger if he is not scoring.

Lurker - I understand what you are saying. Now whose job is it to improve that in training. And shouldn't the most senior striker on the pitch be talking to him also. You are placing this all on Foyo when it is also other people's jobs to coach him

Silk - you do realise Stevens has scored 20+ goals this season?! Without him we would be even worse! He has been one of the highlights this season!

Stevens has been isolated since the change of formation to 3-4-3. No service either from a non existent midfield. Wish we could have kept Sawyers as he was always looking for the quick pass forward and always looking forwards.
