In case of interest to anyone, I calculate that our average attendance for home league matches this season was 8,394, which is 4.8% higher than last season's 8,008 (excluding play-off semi). A compound growth rate of 2.1% per annum compared to 7,717 in 2021/22 (first season of admitting fans post-Covid). If yesterday's crowd had turned up for a final match of the season in our Kingsmeadow days, we'd have had to turn away 3,934 of them.

 I think Omar will go and will probably find himself at home with a Gillingham or a Bristol Rovers. He works hard but if we're putting him in the category of one of our better players then that is a stark admission of where the squad is at.
