Also REPD - there are dozens of places that have “all gender” toilets, museums and galleries, shops and restaurants, airports and train stations…. The real danger isn’t trans people, it’s predatory men, but the people whooping about this ruling appear not to be concerned about that… 🤷🏻‍♂️

REPD - I’m just interested to hear what those celebrating the ruling are thinking they have “won” when it seems to me that there’s a possibility they’ve actually inadvertently given a green light to something that they say they’re really worried about… Nobody seems to be able to explain it… 🤷🏻‍♂️

spartan - glad you agree with me, but how are women to distinguish between a 6’ 3” bearded outwardly apparently male but in fact biological woman going into the women’s changing room, and an actual 6’ 3” bearded man going into the women’s changing room in order to gain access to women/girls…? If challenged, that male can just say “Don’t worry, I’m a biological woman”, and then everyone is expected to accept that he’s telling the truth, yes? It seems to me that the real problem is predatory men taking advantage of this ruling… 🤔

I have no objections whatsoever to men dressing up as women (Danny LaRue, Dick Emery) or vice versa (Mulan, Bob in Blackadder).

The ruling establishes the legal position. Everything else will flow from that. It will take time to settle down, but there is now a definition that has been made.
