Freiburg of course play in the German league, if we did then we would be in the same position as them, but we don’t, so we aren’t.

Nick, Woking - Freiburg are a 100% fan owned club - have moved into a new 30K stadium and are competing at the top of the Bundesliga and do okay in the Europa League. If they keep their form up the could be in the Champions League next season.

OI (from 21:47 last night)- I agree there is no way that our ownership model is going to change- we have done the corporate version of the Houdini trick of locking ourselves in a milk churn under water and I doubt that there is any way to change this unless/ until we go into administration (at which point all of the paraphernalia of restricted actions etc will fall away). As always in life, it’s not unreasonable to point out a problem, even if one can’t see a realistic way of solving it (see, for example, climate change).

I know Al-Hamadi became our number 9 but Josh would have been the good back up for the last 20 or if Ali needed rest. Playing him as a number 10 played him a role he was not suited to like Matty as a wide forward or loan target man.

Hopefully we will be playing with a 352 today. After listening to a couple of podcasts yesterday I remembered the start Josh Davison had for us. In the first half of his first season he scored 8 goals all in the box when playing as a 9 in a 4231. Then he moved him to a number 10 and his goals dried up. This season Stevens scored a lot of goals in the first half of the season in a front two with Bugiel. he then got moved to a right sided forward in a 343 and his goals dried up. Hopefully JJ will see the connection and return to a 352.

Surely the stats show that it is rare for us to concede early or even be losing at half time? I'm sure something to that effect was posted a few days ago. Our achilles heel is the last 15 minutes
