I'm not entirely sure that I want us to go up now, unlikely though it is. Play-off money will be useful if we get there, but we'd really struggle in L1, much like last time. Fewer northern teams in L2 next season too.

Keefy - just to be clear, the last sentence in my post of 19:37 may have contained a small / huge/ element of sarcasm - I do recognise that that doesn't always translate that well in text. I am very much not in my "happy space" with where the club finds itself now.

mackie - yeah it was tough to work out in the moment what happened. I saw the footage from the live stream of the game to figure out what happened. Frustratingly, we looked to play on and twice gave the ball away between the time of Riley going down and Vale scoring.

OI - I agree. It was clearly identified at the recent meeting that we have a gap which needed to be bridged but there seems to have been no action taken on that. It does sort of seem that the master plan is to drift along until the money runs out in a couple of years then sell out when we are in administration. It's not the greatest plan in all honesty and I would hope that there is something actually better on the stocks that we just don't know about (yet)

OI we sell up get the clique who are a blight on the club out. Yes plenty of investors but not with strings attached.

How do we get outside investment? Nick W and I keep pointing out that it is great to identify an issue but you aren't really making progress until you have a plan for a solution.

And the ref was a prick on that, it doesn't have to be a foul. A head injury is just that and Harbottle couldn't get up when he tried. The game should have been stopped.

When Harbottle slipped he got a knee to the head on the way down. The fact he tried to get up but couldn’t suggested to me he should have been subbed immediately.
