Good luck to those travelling to Exeter tonight. I would allow extra time for your journey - I'm in east Cornwall and Storm Bram's rain and especially wind are pretty damn strong.

If you’re looking for something to watch on these cold winter nights (14 degrees here today tbf) then I can recommend Say Nothing on Channel 4. It’s a 9-parter based ok a book of the same name following two Catholic girls’ experience and involvement in The Troubles back from the early 70s onwards.

Very interesting, quite dark but supposedly sticks very closely to the real events as told by some of the people involved themselves. It doesn’t sympathise or judge, just tells the story.

Not having had a reply from George, I have now escalated asking how members can ask questions online during the AGM to Angus so I will be interested to see if that achieves anything.

Such sad news about John Lelliott. He was a true gent. Remember him very well from plough lane and selhurst days
and he was always very generous with his time and always had a smile on his face. RIP John 💙💛

I’d take a spawny and undeserved 1-2 win. I want 0-6.

Spit - not sure what rumours you mean, but if IIRC you needed paper tokens from the matchday programmes from the final three league games at PL to get Dons end cup final tickets. So there were loads of them at those matches and in our end at Wembley It was a hot day and I took my jacket off and put it on the terraces beside me, only for a Scouser to piss all over it. Before the game I bought a yellow and blue cup final cap by Wembley Park station only for a gang of "scallywags" to take it off me (I actually expected worse). And going through the turnstiles another Scallywag pressed up so hard against me to get in for free that in another scenario I would have interpretated it rather differently. He failed. There's a Kenny Dalglish story somewhere about 120,000 being a Wembley for a Liverpool game. Such a shame that an absolutely great club has a minority of questionable fans tarnishing the image of the vast majority of decent football supporters.

RIP the 97 true fans who got there early with tickets. And why is Heysel rarely mentioned?
Yes indeed RIP, was a good servants and sponsors of the club back in the day before we hit the jackpot.
