I am not sure why any manager would sign a contract which has the playoffs as a target with the 12th budget or why any club would offer it. I do not believe there will be any playoff stipulation in the contract.

Silk - presumably his contract only runs to next season if we make thevplay-offs? I thought that written into his contract when it was extended. If not - chairman should be sacked for signing off on it.

We simply do not deserve even a play-off place after the collapse over the last 15 games. Even if we did stumble into them there is a good chance we could match or exceed the scum's play-off record last season against Crawley.

Dons Outlook - JJ's contract runs out at the end of next season so he will be in situ next season. Don't be surprised if it gets extended again in the summer however.

More positively, Grimsby have only won one of their last six and that was against bottom placed Morecambe.

Nothing about what I see suggests we have a change in form about us. Barely a shot on target, at home, in a critical match. Again.

We have to lose and either Salford or Chesterfield have to win.

Grimsby basically have to win next week as they're now out of the play-offs and a draw is highly unlikely to be enough for them whereas a win guarantees them play-offs, almost certainly at our expense. Nightmare scenario we've found ourselves in.

The thing about form is that it does switch at some point but not even scoring a goal in over 350 minutes of football means we haven't even got the basic point of the game at the moment. Expect us to lose next weekend and miss out on the playoffs.
