It was an unusual thing for a club to put in a programme.

ALSO - Kopparberg spelt as "Kopperberg". "Andy be answering questions from our host" should be "will be answering".... "snap-up" should be "snap up"

Thanks 6MDM. I had no idea it's an early kick-off!

DD - search back on my tag. I posted about the issue on the day of the Huddersfield game. It's to do with an inflammatory and factually inaccurate two page article that appeared in their matchday programme.

Otherwise, ask me tomorrow at the game and I'll happily explain!

This is currently on the OS about tomorrow's game. I don't know what is worse, the inability to spell collections or that the game will have already finished at 2.30 pm. I know nobody proof reads anything but surely the author should spot this themselves.
1 -1 draw tomorrow, wimbledon spoons beforehand if anyone wants to have a pop:-)

There are some valid points in that blog (i.e. ones I agree with) and some invalid points (i.e. ...). Not everything can be addressed in one blog post, especially one where I can't see how it is likely to effect change.

Timmy - it’s quite amusing that blog, but I do sometimes wonder who’s writing them… There might be a good reason why it’s anonymous… 🤔😬

Respectfully disagree Timmy it’s pointing the finger at the wrong people and conveniently ignoring real problems.

OTD was a pivotal game in the club’s history - resulting in a complete change in form and a far better goalkeeper. And promotion.

it should have been dealt on the day at Huddersfield in the press box between the two club's media reps. No need for written rebuttals.

nowadays we are too worried about upsetting people and sharing our views, hence my regular suspension from discord.
Any news on whether our squad is still stricken with illness? Both us and Mansfield go into tomorrow in very poor form. Very dificult to predict what might happen.

Am I right in thinking our last home win was 27th September??
Didn’t Beere get sent back from a loan because he went on social media and said the loan club’s reason given for him not playing, injured I think, was rubbish?

I’d say that top 3 academy products bit is pushing it. The best academy products have been gone before 16 or 18.
6MDM- tend to agree - heard about it when I listened to the same old Wombles podcast like 7-10 days ago or so and they said would be up by time that episode went out (if I remember correctly )

Not the most important thing, but just another in a long list of things
On the subject of World Cup tickets I am a “Top Capper” in the England travel club. This means I would get any tickets I need at the cheapest rate. However I will not be parting with £3219 for a final ticket. I was happy to pay around 1.5k to 2k for Quarters semi and final. However at what they are asking for they can poke it. I will just apply for the Round of 16 where we will probably meet Mexico in the Azteca and twin it with a week in Cancun

the golden wonder
For context I did every game at last years Euros for £328
Not that I think it is a good idea anyway as publishing some article on the DT website about an article that appeared in the opposition's matchday programme is futile, but the moment to do so has passed given the game was two weeks ago. It will just make us look like we are self-absorbed and holier than thou. If the club have an issue then raise it direct with Huddersfield and be adult about it. I'm sure it would be more effective than grandstanding on a website that increasingly more and more people have no interest in.

I hope they just changed their minds, as opposed to whatever rebuttal they had in mind being passed backwards and forwards amongst the DTB to critique. This is one of the classic dangers of running something by committee, i.e. no agility or ability to respond quickly to things.
Patience Timmy. I've been having an ongoing correspondence with James Lonhurst about making sure the Volunteer Code of Conduct is visible on the Dons Trust website. I may be naive but I believe James wants it there but despite him asking more than once it is still not there.

A4E - for the less popular nations they'll be relatively easy to get hold of I'd imagine. But you just know Brandon Cryptobro who runs Crapto Currency LLP will want to be seen at Brazil v Scotland...

One thing about the US though is that getting accommodation won't be quite so difficult, if you're prepared to travel a little bit further out.
