Well the disclaimer says it isn't true JAW. It uses estimated wages and every player who has been there for part of a season. And it doesn't say how t deals with loans where they probably have no idea what percentage of the wage is picked up by the League 2 club.

Top half of L1 is much more significant. Birmingham are estimated to be spending £16m (1st in budget table), Rotherham £7m (4th).

Undeniably, that sort of wage bill had a huge impact
Even *if*

Even those figures are unreliable it shows how small the differences are between L2, ie a few hundred grand between playoffs and midtable mediocrity. Simply looking at the positions in the league table is facile. Good management/recruitment/culture will surely trump a few hundred grand.

Interestingly, the differences are similarly tiny with midtable L1 clubs
Would suggest that anything that puts Morecambe as spending more than Doncaster is pretty unreliable.

JaW: Col U have the most expensive forwards. I wonder who's filling their pockets there then🤔

Anyone know if this is true? [Link] If it is it shows that Doncaster, Walsall, Grimsby all below us in budget table. Notts and Port Vale very similar to us. Alongside Carlisle being at the top shows budget means nothing in this division.

Pretty sure Woodyard gave similar feedback to fans and that didn’t end well.

Johnson was calming things down, let’s not keep repeating crap and making it fact.

RK - "Drinking and showing off how hard you are in front of your mates probably a factor too". That's enough of the players...

Some of our fans gve it to the players, can't complain when they get some back. For me it's down to the management. Im Probably spoilt because we had such good management in the 80s 90s and every player knew his position and what's expected, if one was injured another would slot in and equally perform.

I don't know Spit. Johnson didn't seem to be calming anyone down at all. Not sure what he thought he was going to gain. Harbottle did the right thing pushing Johnson away.

I can't get too upset about the whole thing. We care, they care, it's going to bubble up into those sorts of incidents every now.
For those of you who work, try telling the bloke who pays your wages to fuck off and see if you still have a job next day. Didn't we have a similar situation some years ago?

Spit - it looked like Johnson trying to calm fans, followed by Neufville telling fans to f-off.

KD- or they think they won’t be kept on if we get promoted.

Maybe a fair chunk of this squad are off, know they are off, and don't really give a fuck anymore
For the love of God, you’re joking me. One app to buy a ticket and now I can no longer use the same app to download it and use the ticket?

Who comes up with these ideas? Do I need a separate app to enter the stadium and one to sit down? An app to buy a drink and take a piss? Ffs.
Spit-ah ok missed the situation but either way not good to have your best players in that situation unless it achieves a backs to the wall mentality

The fact that we’ve only won 5 league games away from home between January and the end of season since 1/1/2021 says a lot. Wigan and Accy in 20/21 season, Notts Cy in 23/24 and Newport (and that was 2nd Jan) and Carlisle this season.

Sounded like players telling fans to f off though carshalton from what changing says
