Unfortunately now in the modern day game, there’s so many experts out there telling people what to do. “Wimbledon as a side now don’t have many weaknesses, if I’m being honest. They’re really strong, really well-organised, really good at what they do and it’s going to be a tough game. “I’m sure Johnnie is sitting there hopefully saying to his players that Chesterfield certainly won’t come looking for a draw on Friday and it’s a game that the team that wins it will feel in a really strong place going into Monday’s game.” The manager then provided an update on Armando Dobra’s injury: “He won’t play on Friday, he’ll miss the Monday game with Bradford and then we’ll have a look at him after that. “The squad has been tested all year. It is what it is. People will come in, we’ve got to really focus on the job at hand and the challenges that will be in front of us, which will be quite clear once the game kicks off and we’ve got to make sure we do well to get the three points.”

Would I be right in saying that this gender ruling seems to be the first sensible judgement this year? If so, one can only hope it doesn't take as long until the next bit of common sense kicks in. Although, as things stand, it could well be that tiny shred of hope which kills you.
