It’s Salford v Bromley tonight. If Salford win there’s a slight chance they might combine with Cambridge to knock the frannis out of the automatic spots by the final day. But there’s also a chance they might kick on and become champions instead.

Like you OI I have not seen anything from the club promoting our mascots fund raising efforts. His biggest cheer leader seems to be Aaron Paul the BBC London morning presenter.

TF - like so much other programmes falling by the wayside, FF was of its time. It was pretty redundant when the 12h30 kickoffs came in, and I bet that's what most people now watch.

Ah that’s a real shame but at the same time I can’t remember the last time I sat down to watch it so maybe the time is right.

Did anyone on here go to the Wolfpack thing last Thursday? I haven’t seen any talk about it and the club’s social media posts on the evening are getting no traction at all. I thought it looked like it could be a really good evening but couldn’t attend myself.

Whether we stay up or go down, the Club need a fairly hard-nosed review of its costs, player and non-player

He has just got passed the £10,000 mark but is still short of his target Running the Marathon in that hot smelly fur is going to be tougher this time around now that Haydon is that much older. He turns out to support our team every game at the Lane, now is running 26 miles for the DLAG. Would be good to boost the total if you are able [Link]

That's the crux of our problem, we can field a decent side from 14 or so but after that we struggle.

Given we've lost 6 on the spin, conceded more goals than any other L1 team and will either go down or stay up by a whisker, I suggest it is unlikely that there will be a queue round the block to sign ANY of our squad - in or out of contract. Some of our squad I would keep for L2 but not L1. We have maybe 10 1st team squad players (inc. loanees) I'd like to keep, plus maybe 2 more if we are in L2. That leaves about ten who can go - sadly a fair few of these are contracted for next season.

It’s a hypothesis that the recruitment in the summer (and January) was heavily influenced by our budget or specifically lack of budget. Craig Cope and team did wonders last season L2 but can’t be expected to pull rabbits out of hats when they’re up against other L1/L2 clubs offering better deals.
