6mdm, it was also posted on Discord. According to Kris Stewart, the decision to withdraw from this process was made years ago and was only ever means to avoid sanctions. He has no clue as to why it took so long to be announced.

Thanks DD. However, I don't use the DT's WhatsApp. I naively thought their website would contain information for members. I'm sure there are some who would actually like to understand what this mediation process was for (be it to avoid punishment from the EFL for childish references or omissions or whatever) and now that it has concluded what does that actually mean in practical (non-box ticking) terms? If the answer is nothing and this was merely a necessary charade to avoid sanctions then they can use appropriate wording to convey this.

I was just at the Surrey vs Lancs game and am mystified how the game finished. The BBC site says Lancs lost 10 wickets but I think the final batter (which should have been Jimmy Anderson, I think) never came out to bat.

How did people discover this mediation "update" given it was buried in the news section and nothing to flag it up on the DT landing page? It was only reading on here that prompted me to go looking for it. Now that I spent the 10 seconds it took to read it, what in reality does it actually mean? Who said we needed to enter this farce of a process? Now that it has ended what can we now say or do that we couldn't before? That statement provides no context or useful information. It couldn't be any less pointless.
