 A lot of stray passes from Reeves yeaterday. Surely his last year with us!

 Jake Reeves' job as far as I can tell is to ensure we retain possession. He does that well in my view and has, I would guess, a 90% success pass rate. There were a couple of times yesterday when he was in possession and pointing to where he wanted to play the ball. But there was no movement from the target player so a square / back pass was the result.

 First thing I heard from a fan leaving the ground was that Reeves was probably the worst player on the pitch and bearing in mind his importance I struggle to disagree with this. His lack of pace, drive and constantly going backwards was even more galling having seen in the programme that he said the players were all refreshed and raring to go.

 Without wanting to sound mean to the young man, Kelly is not the answer to our problems.

 Time to recall Kelly? And sign that young lad that scored for them too.

 Could understand him feeling/knowing that Bugiel was tired/jet-lagged from international duty but yep the other two seemed like fielding a deliberately weakened starting line up.

 The biggest problem about yesterday was that we didn't need to start either Orsi or Sasu yesterday. We could have started with Asiimwe and Bugiel/Hackford. Quite what was in JJs mind is beyond me.

 Good update, as always REPD - I do agree with your point at the end of your piece, that if anyone who comes in to bail us out in the next couple of months they will probably be doing so with a view to being in pole position to bid for control of the club when the reality that we have to sell out control finally hits home.

 Is Sam Hutchinson ever going to be able to play again? If so I'd start him in midfield alongside Reeves and let Hippolyte and Smith fight for the attacking midfield spot. Reeves nowadays is the 'water carrier' not the playmaker. If we are playing well as a team he helps us play well, if we're playing poorly he helps us play poorly. I don't think we have anyone else who performs that role and if we had money there would be more glaring weaknesses to fix.
