Yesterday, their new director announced that players and staff would not be paid, despite injecting a huge amount of cash into the club through his payday loan firm. He has since said that if players refuse to play, he will liquidate the club. Hamilton are closer to the edge than ever.

I didn't reralise there was a 5 person vote on reviewed decisions by the Premier League and some of them are odd. Arsenal v Everton, in all given the referee and VAR official plus the panel 4 out of 7 think it wasn't a penalty but the headline says it should have been. Chelsea and Newcastle the panel think it should have been a penalty (3-2) but when it wasn't given think VAR was right to keep out of it (3-2). [Link]

As you know, OI, the problem comes from the people who are responsible for looking at the options considering fan ownership as sacrosanct and therefore aren’t able, even if they were capable, of researching, presenting or delivering a balanced set of potential solutions.

The positive idea is to look at all alternatives, not just restrict it to those that involve continued fan ownership. So look at what selling out would involve from all aspects, what safeguards we might build in for the pitch, name etc. Then show potential financial outcomes for various scenarios over the next 5 to 10 years. Then ask the 'owners' what they think is best.

And with the results being made available to everyone and not just the board 😅
