For the record, I was only pulling Trigger's leg earlier. I've only met him once, many years ago at KM, and i feel that I get on well with him on Wup and he has never given me any reason to dislike him.

Any lower division club could point out they are hard up compared to City. Exeter are facing the same reality as us, good for them to try anything but I can't see why City should be more generous to them than they would be, for example, to Burton

Bert - true, but I still prefer the original ones… However, the AI versions do give us a laugh… 🤭

a4e - There are few original photos prior to 1967. Most of these were scanned from old newspapers and pretty poor to start with.

Trigger - I use a combination of the free versions of Manus, Gemini and ChatGPT and results vary wildly. Increasing the resolution does risk potentially changing the facial features and all three seem to think we played in red, but with some judicial instruction I've found some of the results can look quite spectacular.

Best just to use the original photo where possible, or to at least flag that the one being used is AI generated (or show both so that we can decide for ourselves which one we prefer…).

Whomsoever from the ticket team does read on here could we get an update on the Port Vale tickets please? Unless I’m doing something wrong it seems impossible to buy them yet.

I’ve never told anyone I’m not a robot as much as I have done to Port Vale.
Cheers, Bert. Interesting. Our lads were clearly ahead of the times. Hardly anyone seems to wear long sleeves nowadays, even goalies.

Whichever AI tool you use has definitely hallucinated a little oriental skew on the faces of the players. I'm having fun with generative AI but sometimes it can be incredibly frustrating. Spend half my time telling it what not to change.

And it doesn't know what a west country accent is. Often goes West African with unintended hilarious results - which can never be shared.
If you post on here, there will be someone who doesn't like you and would rather you didn't post (with the possible exception of Padds). Best to live and let live as far as is possible given the constraints of not being a dick.

OTD 1961 - I thought players generally wore long sleeves shirts until the late 1960s/early 1970s. Would be interested to see the original pre-AI photo.
