Think it's a bit harsh describing the west stand as a vanity project as one recent post did. Approved of the 'future proofing' aspect of the stadium design, ie that west can be extended round into the east and I guess all the way round, instead of starting again from ground up. Know the foundations on the 'temporary' stands would need to be done again but can you imagine the wrap around design when finished? Must be compelling for a potential investor.

Last night Craig Cope mentioned that Wycombe have their academy in London now. They are linked with Kinetic foundation - who work with ex academy players , trying to give them another chance . They have a very good track record in getting players signed again . My son did a coaching internship there last year . Really good set up

Spit i think my thoughts on them go back to those games at Selhurst Park. Their fans were the worst ones I saw there. Was pleased for them when the won the PL but would still have a little smile to myself if they ended up in L1 ten years later.
