Last time I was at Stockport I think I bumped into Mr Jon of Woking and had a nice chat.

First time I ever went there was a pre-season friendly vs Villa (ex was a Villa fan) and I still think the cheeseburger I had that day was the best food I’ve ever purchased inside a football ground. Long time ago mind.
Yeah might be my last away game of the season depending on how we approach the game. I like Stockport it’s a decent away trip good selection of boozers in easy walking distance between the ground and the station. Fans are alright as well certainly wouldn’t begrudge them a playoff place and that’s what they’ll be fighting for tomorrow. I think even if we had a full strength squad out then we’d be lucky to grab a point so I’m expecting a routine to significant defeat.

Bit chilly as well only 7-8 degrees maximum so it’s one for the scarf wearers. 4-1 home win.
Anyone going to Stockport?

I thought the KM wall had been re-created at PL? Not certain where it is, but I think I've seen it.

The main thing from the Double Slit is not that it demonstrates wave particle duality it’s that it shows that the photons change which one they are when they’re being observed (observed in both a literal and scientific sense.)

In essence the universe changes its behaviour when it knows it’s being watched. And nobody can explain why.

More that individual photons (and other entities) display qualities associated with particles (discrete, localised) and waves (interference, diffraction).

Re Two Slits - Am I correct in that it demonstrates that light, particles and individual atoms behave rationally BUT when atoms are grouped their behaviour changes?

I had/have a brick at Km - is it true they’ve skipped them? Bit rubbish if true

Had 2 KM bricks, one in memory of my Dad. Was well peeved to find out they'd been binned. Like Paddington, not falling for that one again.

That reminds me, there was an offer to recreate the Kingsmeadow wall. I had a brick. Email to be sent tomorrow.

Good to see in the wetherspoons spring magazine correcting that the myth about wetherspoons buying beer and lager with a short shelf life is completely untrue.

Interesting that the club are pushing their £100 brick plaques but have never retrieved the bricks that people paid for at KM despite being part of the original deal.

I recently watched The Big Match revisited featuring QPR v Birmingham from the early 1970s. Birmingham had Mike Kelly in goal (who played for us in the 1963 FA Amateur Cup final) and Phil Summerill up front (he pops up quite frequently on The Big Match Revisted and I hate to say it but he wasn't very good). Dave Galvin was on recently too playing for Gillingham against Charlton.

For any oldtimers (including Carshalton Womble) not going to Stockport, ITV4 at 1030 on Saturday has highlights of 1971 Colchester (featuring Dick Graham as manager and Mick Mahon as an early substitute) versus Brentford , whose goal is scored by John O'Mara
