My split rail ticket meant i had to change seats THREE times during the journey. VCC as always at weekends, absolutely RAMMED with many standing. Fortunately, i managed to stsy in my original seat, prrsumably people gettimg on could navigate their way ...
I was on The Kop that day. The only person who cheered Corkie’s goal. I was with a couple of Liverpool season ticket holders who “minded” me.

Yes mark and no shade being thrown around with that it’s just circumstance. I hope that if Jennings and Foyo get some decent minutes that the away fans give them our support above whatever’s going on on the pitch. Very tough fixture to be brought back for* and Stockport will be looking to get the three points as quickly and easily as possible today to see their playoff hopes progress. Could be a long 90 mins.

That’s right Bad Egg. 1987 I was a supporter by then but too young to travel to Anfield. Didn’t realise (until I saw Rob C’s post on twitter) that that was the first time we’d ever played there. Those were the days. Crazy Gang attitude it’s just 11 v 11 have some of that.

I think today is the anniversary of the slow train to Anfield, I don’t think that game was televised but I’ve always wondered if that game was recorded and the goals are somewhere out there? I just remember Corkie leaping like a salmon, Winterburn with a blockbuster and king Kenny scoring a great king Kenny goal, would love to see those goals again
