Spit - I am in complete agreement with you, anyone killing a police officer whilst that officer is on duty deserves to be put away for a very long time. My wife was teaching in a tough secondary school in Haringay during the Broadwater Farm rioting in Tottenham when PC Keith Blakelock was murdered by a mob whilst defending firefighters who were under attack…. Many of the youngsters involved in the riot were pupils and ex pupils of the school where she was teaching - so many rumours were around about who might have been involved with Blakelock’s murder, it was a pretty scary time to be thinking that his killers might literally be in the classroom with you…. Nobody has ever been convicted of that murder, and I certainly wouldn’t be joining in with singing a song that celebrates murdering police officers… 😒

OTD - Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield. It was cold and we were in a corner on the main stans side of that decrepit athletics stadium miles from the pitch. It was worse than watching football at Gateshead, which is saying something. It was demolished about 10 years ago.
