A John Fashanu goal three minutes into added time secured the Dons a 2-2 topflight draw with Arsenal. Who is the Wimbledon number 8 shown starting the fightback from 2-0 down with a 44th minute header? Yesterday's answer - Ian Cooke.

Scrub that last question - it's on Dons TV, I think.

Oh Lord, Aideen. Goes to show how disenchanted we all are. You're the first person to mention it. Admittedly we're ill and in Somerset, but I don't even feel inclined to watch it (assuming you can if you're not on Discord. ) Hats off to you and any other tenacious people from on here who have gone.

Good luck Keefy - let me know what happens… Spit, hope there are plenty of GPs on IoW as most people are even closer to death there than in Sutton… 👨🏻‍🦳😬

Keefy- I worked for a GP when they negotiated that contract, He said they all thought it was hilariously good,; they were biting the government's hand off and the politicians were too stupid to see the consequences.

He was a pillar of the local Labour Party too.
I think the resident doctors (NB this is nothing to do with GPs) will have lost a lot of public support for the stance they're taking. (I'm certainly not happy about it as my daughter is due to give birth during the strike.)

Doctor's appointment at the Nelson on Wednesday, but had to book quite far in advance.
Lurker- not complaining about them striking, but striking when there is a. Flu epidemic that shows no sign of peaking. Health Secretary offered to extend their strike mandate so they could move strike to January. First do n9 harm.

Speaking of needing stronger tablets, this MK resident clearly needs some following his meltdown earlier Cameron Menzies left with bloodied hand from battering table with flurry of punches after World Darts Championship exit [Link]
Depends on how many patients on the books at a practice ,.obviously the Nelson is a big catchment area with 2 former practices, cannon hill and church lane.

Amount of flats being built with no infrastructure, you die before you see a doctor in sutton:-)
TBF to the Nelson, they do prioritise same-day if need be (which I've had to use about 3/4 months ago).

Is it possible to use another health centre just to get stronger tablets?
Keefy - I think I must be lucky, yes, although I’m pretty sure that if you request a non urgent appointment online, you’ll get one - you just have to be prepared to wait a few days or a week or so. Urgent issues might be more problematic, I don’t know.

Labour yes, gives in to the most powerful unions. Mind you the GP's are and have been taking the piss for years after Blair re negociated their contracts. Impossible to ger a face to face appointment leading to more people attending A and E

DO compare the doctors salary to a tube drivers salary and have a think about what we prioritise (as in who has the most power for the least requirements to do the job).

I would suggest that any company that offers a blue light discount withdraws it from resident doctors. Naked greed appears to have trumped their hippocratic oath.
