Depends on how many patients on the books at a practice ,.obviously the Nelson is a big catchment area with 2 former practices,cannon hill and church lane.

TBF to the Nelson, they do prioritise same-day if need be (which I've had to use about 3/4 months ago).

Keefy - I think I must be lucky, yes, although I’m pretty sure that if you request a non urgent appointment online, you’ll get one - you just have to be prepared to wait a few days or a week or so. Urgent issues might be more problematic, I don’t know.

The Nelson asked me to book a routine appointment to discuss blood test results. They neglected to tell me that there aren't any appointments now available until 2026.

Labour yes, gives in to the most powerful unions. Mind you the GP's are and have been taking the piss for years after Blair re negociated their contracts. Impossible to ger a face to face appointment leading to more people attending A and E

DO compare the doctors salary to a tube drivers salary and have a think about what we prioritise (as in who has the most power for the least requirements to do the job).

I don’t know enough about the situation to comment DO. Our resident doctor may have an alternative view….

I would suggest that any company that offers a blue light discount withdraws it from resident doctors. Naked greed appears to have trumped their hippocratic oath.

Silk you may have forgotten Pell getting in trouble for booting balls into their fans in the warm up. Also one of their players actually said on social media the last few times we played them their players weren’t up for it enough - pretty sure it was Gilbey - takes 2 to have a fight and looking at the last few times we played them it was clear there weren’t 2 sides up for it.

Silk - a few related stats. We've got 5th highest xG against, 3rd highest % of shots faced in the box, and Bishop has the lowest save % in the league. Bit of a mixed bag defensively. Sone positives yesterday with their 1st minute chance their only shot in the box and Bishop making a good save. I do think we've looked better defensively in recent games going back to more of a 352 but always tricky to balance that with (lack of) attacking threat.

Silk I think the thing that we’re limiting teams to chances where they really should be ashamed if they don’t score is both good and bad. It’s possibly a good thing that the goals were conceding are only because they’re harder not to score. But it could also be we’re conceding more of those kind of chances as well. I think the latter is a part of it that we need to stop.

Oh yeah Mansfield have always been that kind of team I think Clough has adopted their style rather than trying to implement his own.
