"Would you pay £50 for membership if it wasn't free?" Well I'd pay the DT bit but not the club bit so is that a YES or NO?

I saw Eastbourne Town 0 Three Bridges 5 on Saturday. 3B featured Josh Hallard wearing 3 and Reece Hallard (presumably brother) at 11.

Reece was the star on Saturday with one goal and at least two assists.
Some questions are pretty daft. "Is membership good value for money?" Borderline when it is free!

If you want to go sell up, best sign up to the 50.01 route first. That way when the money runs out then they will finally get the message... no money left

Naz - re: terrirers - in the good old days input was checked before being released into the wild. It seems that now anything goes both from the club & the DT

Ever since the Greeks, people have complained about how kids behave.

maybe Aristotle is still relevant to us "Young men think they know everything, and are always quite sure about it."
No schools should not be “teaching discipline” it is the responsibility of parents to do that - from what I gather teachers get it in the neck from parents if they try to instil discipline and heaven forbid try tell the parents that poor little Keanu or Kylie are actually little shits

The classic “nobody tells me what to do” bollox
Just completed the DT survey - Section 4 - Optional Feedback - Do you have any other comments or feedback you would like to provide to improve your membership experience? ... Get someone less sloppy to send out these missives without getting the links / email addresses wrong. This is not the first time this has happened and suggests those responsible are not having their input checked prior to dispatch. Don't bar people from standing for the board because of petty errors e.g. YOUR mistake with an email address resulting in much anguish on both sides. Own up to your errors and make good. Don't create new rules regarding past behaviour preventing someone standing for election and then conveniently ignore said rule when it's applied to AT LEAST ONE of your own. A positive outcome to some of these suggestions would 'improve my membership experience.'

Exactly keefy, kids behaving badly in school uniform isn't a great advert for that school. Ambassadors to our school we were told back in the day.

Hash - I think Cunningham is most likely looking towards the lino to make sure he's not flagging for offside. Everyone else seems to be watching Earle's celebration. :-)

Using buses around Mertom from 3pm onwards is a nightmare with all the school kids scrambling to get on. I see some schools use staff at bus stops to keep order.

6 people in an 80 k plus vehicles gold standard. Do the maths once expenses are taken off. All fares set by khan and TFL!not the driver. I do plenty of set fares for my regular customers.

Surely schools also should be teaching kids discipline and how to behave, not just trigonometry
Best to blame the teachers for the kids’ behaviour outside of school hours rather than the parents… 🤪🤦🏻‍♂️ I’m sure your own kids were always angelic, Spit… 😇

£16.20 for a 10 minute black cab ride yesterday - complete rip off IMO 🙄
In that OTD pic Kenny Cunningham seems to be the only person who knows where the ball is including the crowd

It's not the schools Spit, it's the parents. No boundaries or discipline in today's modern world where mum and dad want to be besties not parents to their kids.

I don’t want to sell out - but feels like we may need to - people need to be realistic in what’s fans own club in L1 can achieve- and I agree with Nick that NOW - the club is operationally run in a good way - no more ticket issues - queues to get in reduced - better catering contract - also agree with Aideen that initially all those things were a disaster - but they have now been fixed

People also need to be realistic in what selling out 100% means - and just saying ….put protections on the ground etc …. may not be possible
"Report & Highlights: Spoils shared as Dons draw with Terrirers"... I'm surprised no one at the club has spotted this OS typo.

Strange times.
DO - that could be considered but we are still avoiding the basic problem that if you lose money year after year, either someone (some people, some organisation) cover the losses or you eventually go bust. It seems clear now that the 'owners' aren't willing to cover the losses.

Whilst I keep my mind open to fan ownership options moving forwards, I am practically 100.% aligned with Timmy.

It’s time to consider all options and decide which is best for the future of the club. Ignoring private ownership just because of some people’s ethos is not a viable approach.

Stu D - we don’t deserve to be fan-owned - that’s why I’m now backing the sell out camp. I don’t feel I get anything more by the club being fan owned. We saved the club, survived, have even prospered, but what’s needed now is a new direction. This place, ProBoards and Discord has led me to believe we need a strong owner in charge
